This Privacy Policy explains how PhotoBloom (the "app") handles your information. The short version: your photos stay on your device and are never uploaded. The app collects a limited amount of anonymous usage data to understand how the app is used and to keep it running well. The detail is below.
PhotoBloom builds its game from your photo library. To do this it needs read access to your photos, which you grant through the standard iOS permission prompt.
You can revoke photo access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → PhotoBloom.
We use third-party analytics and messaging tools to understand product usage and deliver notifications. Through these tools, the following may be collected:
We do not collect your photos, the contents of your photos, your name, your email address (unless you choose to email us for support), or your account credentials. PhotoBloom has no user accounts and no sign-in.
PhotoBloom uses the following service providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:
Automatic event capture and session replay are disabled — every analytics event the app sends is one we have explicitly defined.
We do not sell your personal information.
If you grant permission, PhotoBloom sends local reminders to help you keep your streak alive. You can turn these off at any time in Settings → Notifications → PhotoBloom.
Game data (streaks, scores, and cached city names) is stored on your device and is removed when you delete the app. Anonymous analytics data is retained by our providers according to their standard retention policies. Deleting the app stops all further collection.
PhotoBloom is rated 4+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app contains no targeted advertising.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
